Exactly one year ago, I was planning to walk the Camino de Santiago, or more specifically, the Camino Francais. A little known fact is that there are 12 ways to reach Santiago de Compostela. When we completed the Camino Francais last November, a few of us thought it would be great to do another walk such as the Portuguese route from Lisbon to Santiago. Well the idea has become a reality and I will be departing for Europe in a few weeks. My Camino amigo, Rich, from Colchester England will be joining me on this exciting new adventure.
Our friends Ed and Carol are walking from Porto to Santiago beginning this month. Unfortunately, our friends Alan and Sherry wont be able to join us this year. Rich came over from England this summer and we were able to visit with Alan and Sherry at their summer home in British Columbia.
