Today is Rich's birthda
yis. This time last year we were in Molinaseca walking the Camino for several weeks longer than this year. We had a nice breakfast out with a drive and walk through Maldon, a nice fishing village. It was misty and provided just the right atmosphere of an autumn day in England in contrast to yesterday's sunny day. We're going to see the new James Bond film later today.
Happy 61st birthday Rich.
The poppy badge he's wearing is a national tradition to commemorate the veterans who died in WWI. The red symbolizes the blood that was shed and the poppy because of the battles that were fought in the poppy fields on France.
They still make taxis in the old style.
